About Me
J.Robert (Bob) Doyle started painting in the early 1990's with his mother, Helen Doyle, who was an accomplished artist. Using oils and pastels I seek to capture scenes that I have visited and inspire me. Thus each of my paintings has a story. Since retirement as an Environmental Engineer in 2012 I dedicated more of my time to to painting and learning what makes a good painting. My love of the environment and concern for the sustainability of our natural and human habitats have inspired many of the paintings. Starting in 2018 I have curated a exhibition titled "Our Planet" that addresses many of the aspects of what is happening to our planet through climate change. This show consists of over 70 paintings by 16 Colorado artists and has shown in Greenwood Village, Centennial, Boulder, Ft Collins and Snowmass, Colorado.
